Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Guest Star in THE MINDY PROJECT's Hulu Premiere

JGL will be married to Mindy Kaling's Dr. Lahiri in the season four premiere of THE MINDY PROJECT on Hulu.

According to BuzzFeed, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to guest star as 'Matt', described as "a suave reality show producer for Bravo" and the man Mindy marries in an "alternate-reality version" of her life. The episode's plot is a nod to the 1998 romantic comedy SLIDING DOORS.

Kaling and co-star Chris Messina (who plays Danny Castellano) previously appeared in an episode of JGL's Pivot series HIT RECORD.

Gordon-Levitt's upcoming big screen projects include THE WALK, X-MAS and SNOWDEN. He recently appeared in THE INTERVIEW, SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR, THE WIND RISES, DON JON and more. He is well known for his role as 'Tommy Solomon' on the TV series 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN.

THE MINDY PROJECT, formerly on FOX, will premiere 25 new episodes this year on Hulu.
