Harrison Ford Set to Join Cast of ENDER'S GAME

According to EWonline, actors Harrison Ford and Abigail Breslin have signed on to star in the adaptation of Orson Scott Card's novel 'Ender's Game'.

The futuristic story tells the tale of a time when Earth is being invaded by an insect-looking race of aliens called 'Formics'. Ender Wiggin, to be played by actor Asa Butterfield, is a brilliant young man who is drafted into military school in order to discover the secret to destroying the invaders. Ford will portray Col. Hyram Graff, the head of the military school. Breslin will take on the role of Ender's sister, Valentine. Also in the cast will be Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Petra Arkanian, Ender's friend and fellow classmate at the Battle School.

The film is being directed by 'Wolverine's Gavin Hood who also penned the script. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will produce the film from OddLot and Summit Entertainment.

Ender's Game is set to be released in theaters on March 15, 2013.
