The Hollywood Reporter reports exclusively that Gwyneth Paltrow is currently in discussions to return as subtitute teacher Holly Holliday for GLEE's 100th episode. The actress won an Emmy award for her guest starring role. It was recently announced that the milestone episode has been expanded to a two-part event airing March 18 and 25.

The highly-anticipated anniversary show will follow vindictive principal Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, who manages to achieve her goal of putting the kabosh on McKinley High's Glee club once and for all. Original cast members Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Mark Salling (Puck), Dancing With the Starswinner Amber Riley(Mercedes), Dianna Agron (Quinn) as well as guest star Kristin Chenoweth (April Rhodes) will stop by Lima to say their farewells to choir leader Will Schuster (Matthew Morrison).

Following the mid-March shows, Glee will switch its focus to New York City, where McKinley High alum Rachel (Lea Michele), Blaine (Darren Criss), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) currently reside.

Glee fans recently had the opportunity to participate in the "GLEE 100th GLEEKS CHOICE: You Vote. We Remix Promotion" and voting for their favorite musical numbers from among 30 songs performed over the past five seasons. (click here for full list of songs)

The Top 10 fan-chosen Glee songs from the past will be re-mixed and performed by the current members of New Directions in the milestone 100th episode. The episode will focus on McKinley High's latest batch of seniors as they approach graduation and reminisce about their most memorable moments, while singing new versions of these iconic tracks.
