FOX confirms exclusively to BroadwayWorld that Jane Lynch will be performing ANNIE's iconic Miss Hannigan anthem "Little Girls" on next week's episode of the hit musical dramedy series, "Lights Out".

Offering up a preview of her forthcoming big Broadway bow in the hit revival of ANNIE, directed by James Lapine, Lynch lends her characteristic caustic timing and confidant alto instrument to the rollicking Charles Strouse/Martin Charnin showstopper in the April 25 ep.

Lynch previously appeared Off-Broadway in Nora and Delia Ephron's LOVE, LOSS & WHAT I WORE and REAL LIFE BRADY BUNCH on tour, though ANNIE will be her mainstage debut.

Also, stay tuned to BroadwayWorld for the exclusive first listen to the ANNIE anthem ala Sue Sylvester very soon!

The official synopsis of "Light's Out" is as follows: "When the power goes out at McKinley High, Will and Finn enlist the members of New Directions to "unplug" and perform acoustic numbers. Meanwhile, Isabelle Wright (guest star Sarah Jessica Parker) asks Kurt to volunteer at the Vogue.com charity event, with Rachel and Santana in tow, in the all-new "Lights Out" episode of Glee airing Thursday, April 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

Lynch joins the Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre on May 16 through July 14.

GLEE airs Thursdays at 9 PM on FOX. More information on Glee is available here.
