Ed Helms to Star in Lionsgate's EPIC FAIL

According to Variety, Lionsgate is currently developing EPIC FAIL, an action comedy film to act as a star vehicle for Ed Helms. Nicky Weinstock will produce the film, with Mike Arnold and Chris Poole set to pen the script.

EPIC FAIL centers on "an elite, but highly unorthodox, special forces team as it takes its dysfunction and excessive firepower on a desperate mission to save America."

Helms is best known for his role as Andy Bernard on the sitcom/mockumentary The Office on NBC and for his role as Dr. Stu Price in The Hangover films. His upcoming projects include SOMEONE MARRY BARRY, STRETCH, CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS, and the in-development NAKED GUN reboot.
