Composer Danny Elfman Backs Out of HUNGER GAMES Film

According to EWonline, composer Danny Elfman will not be able to compose the music for the highly anticpated film THE HUNGER GAMES due to scheduling conflicts. Composer James Newton Howard will be taking over as composer for the film.

Elfman has composed the music for such hit films as Batman, Spider-Man and The Simpsons. Howard has scored the music to the films King Kong, Michael Clayton and Unbreakable. According to the report, Elfman is busy working on next year's blockbuster 'Dark Shadows' as well as the soon to be released 'Men in Black III'. T Bone Burnett will be working with Howard in creating the music for 'Hunger Games'.
