John Pinette satiates cravings for laughter in his new one-hour World Premiere Stand-Up Special "John Pinette: Still Hungry," debuting on Friday, July 29 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Filmed at the Vic Theater in Chicago, the comedian with an appetite stays true to his reputation, discussing everything and anything about food in today's culture and in his own personal life. Pinette wonders how anyone can diet in this day and age when there are Cold Stone Creameries next door to Weight Watchers and three different TV shows with the world "cake" in their titles. From arguing the stupidity of a panini maker ("just use a frying pan!"), to explaining why arugula is the "Emperor's New Clothes" of food, Pinette passionately expresses his frustrating infatuation with food in this one-hour special.

Pinette was born outside of Boston and has been entertaining audiences around the world for over twenty years. He has enjoyed a long career in stand-up, television, film and stage, including a stint starring as Edna Turnblad in the hit Broadway musical, "Hairspray." Pinette's film credits include "Duets," starring Gwyneth Paltrow, "Dear God," starring Greg Kinnear, "Junior," starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, "The Punisher," starring John Travolta and will star opposite Harvey Keitel in the new film, "The Last Godfather." His television credits include "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," the final episode of "Seinfeld" and multiple stand-up comedy appearances on "The Tonight Show," "The Dr. Phil Show" and "The View." His COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special and DVD, "I'm Starvin," was released in January 2007 as a follow-up to his enormously successful CD, "Show Me The Buffet."

"John Pinette: Still Hungry," is executive produced by Pinette, Larry Schapiro, Stu Schreiberg, Judi Brown-Marmel, Robert Hartmann and Stephen Kroopnick. The special is directed by Milton Lage for Levity Productions.
