Cannavale to Join Cast of CBS' Police Drama 'Blue Bloods,' Oct. 15

TVGuide.com has reported that Bobby Cannavale will join the cast of CBS' police drama 'Blue Bloods'. Cannavale's character, Charles Rosselini, is a talented but rough Manhattan DA with political ambitions.

Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Len Cariou, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes, Andrea Roth and Bridget Moynihan. The show follows a group of New York City cops, with Selleck as the chief of police. His children, played by Wahlberg, Estes and Moynihan are all involved in the New York legal system, either as members of the police force or employees in the DA's office.

Cannavale's other TV roles include parts in Third Watch, Cold Case and a recurring role on Will & Grace. Cannavale has performed in movies including Snakes on a Plane and the recently released movie, The Other Guys. He is currently starring in Trust, a Second Stage Theatre production.

The first episode featuring Cannavale will air October 15. Blue Bloods premieres on Friday, September 24 at 10/9pm central on CBS.
