CW Seed's VERONICA MARS Spin-Off Series PLAY IT AGAIN, DICK Sets Launch Date
Save the date, marshmallows! September 15, 2014 will see the premiere of CW Seed's digital VERONICA MARS spin-off PLAY IT AGAIN, DICK, featuring eight episodes.
Starring Ryan Hansen and co-written and produced by 'MARS' creator Rob Thomas, PLAY IT AGAIN, DICK will center on Hansen, who will play himself attempting to get his VERONICA MARS character, Dick Casablancas, his own spin-off.
Stars from the original series are also set to make guest appearances as their characters, plus amped-up versions of their real-life selves. That means look out for Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, and more. Robert Buckley and Rose McIver of Thomas' CW series iZOMBIE will also appear.
The crowd-funded VERONICA MARS movie hit theaters in March. Directed by Thomas and written by both him and Diane Ruggiero, 'MARS' starred Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell, Ryan Hansen, Krysten Ritter, Percy Daggs III, Tina Majorino, Francis Capra, Ken Marino and Enrico Colantoni.
