CBS News' FACE THE NATION posted 3.25m viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 22. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 75% of the CBS affiliates.
On Feb. 22, FACE THE NATION was tied for first in adults 25-54 among the Sunday morning public affairs programs. Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +10% in viewers (from 2.95m) and up +14% in adults 25-54 (from 0.7/03). In the February 2015 sweep, FACE THE NATION delivered 3.59m viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54. FACE THE NATION was first in viewers and tied for first in adults 25-54 for the February 2015 sweep among the Sunday morning public affairs programs. FACE THE NATION was up +11% in viewers (from 3.22m) and even in adults 25-54 compared to last February. FACE THE NATION posted its largest February sweep audience since 1991. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is up +6% in viewers (3.50m from 3.30m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.8/04). Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers and adults 25-54.
