Bill Murray WILL Appear in GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot!

Deadline reports that despite rumors to the contrary, Bill Murray will take part in Paul Feig's upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth. The film, currently under production, is set to hit theaters in 2016.

Sources tell the site that Murray has "snuck" into Boston to film a scene for the project. Murray previously denied reports that he'd appear in the all-female movie, calling the news "crazy talk."

Murray appeared on NBC's Saturday Night Live for which he earned an Emmy Award and later went on to star in comedy films, including Meatballs(1979), Caddyshack (1980), Stripes (1981), Tootsie (1982), Ghostbusters (1984), Scrooged (1988), What About Bob? (1991), and Groundhog Day (1993). Murray garnered additional critical acclaim later in his career, starring in Lost in Translation(2003), which earned him a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor, as well as an Academy Award nomination forBest Actor. He also received Golden Globe nominations for his roles in Ghostbusters, Rushmore (1998), Hyde Park on Hudson (2012) and St. Vincent (2014).
