Angela Ahrendts, Senior Vice President of Apple Retail, sat down with CBS THIS MORNING co-host Norah O'Donnell recently in New York. The interview will be broadcast Tuesday, April 25 on CBS THIS MORNING (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Ahrendts, who for the past three years has been working on reimagining the retail experience at Apple, talks with O'Donnell about the redesign of Apple stores worldwide, why CEO Tim Cook hired her, her leadership style and more.

During the interview, Ahrendts tells O'Donnell about her goals for Apple's retail stores.
"[A] lot of the big online guys have said they're opening stores," she tells O'Donnell. "Amazon's investing in stores. Google's investing in stores...Starbucks figured it out, you know? Being a gathering place for - right? Meet me at Starbucks, you know? And I've told the teams, 'I'll know we've done a really, really great job if the next generation, if Gen Z says, 'Meet me at Apple. Did you see what's going on at Apple today?'"

CBS THIS MORNING launched Jan. 9, 2012, and each weekday morning, Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, three News & Documentary Emmys and two Daytime Emmys. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News' division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Ryan Kadro is the executive producer of CBS THIS MORNING and CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY.
