The hotel recently completed a $110 million total renovation and expansion in June of 2013, featuring a new 459 guestroom tower and a full renovation of the existing 800 guestrooms.

Hyatt Regency McCormick Place's restaurant, Shor, will host a three-course, prix fixe dinner for $40 per person or $48 per person which includes a glass of champagne. Shor, a Chicago Grille, offers a diverse menu, sourced from fresh, local ingredients. M/X, a sleek, high-energy lounge located next to Shor, will ring in the New Year with a champagne toast at midnight complete with small party favors.
