Manhattan by Sail has two "Lobster & Beer Lovers Sail" excursions scheduled from lower Manhattan. This popular event is for people who enjoy the best in food, drink and fantastic views of the New York City. The fun of summer continues on Tuesday, September 16th and Tuesday, October 7th aboard the Clipper City Tall Ship from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The "Lobster & Beer Lovers Sail" includes two Maine-style lobster rolls from Luke's Lobster. These rolls, served chilled, are famous for their delicious combination of fresh lobster, with just a little bit of mayo, lemon and spices on a buttered and toasted split-top bun. Guests will also enjoy coleslaw, potato salad, pickles and chips with unlimited beer during their twilight sail.
The Clipper City Tall Ship is a majestic, restored sailing ship with a length of 158 feet and a height of 120 feet. It features a sweeping deck and can comfortably sail 134 people, the most of any passenger sailboat in the United States. The attentive, professional crew makes every excursion a pleasure. Guests return time and time again to enjoy this distinctive way to enjoy a New York adventure and experience the city from the harbor.
The Clipper City Tall Ship now departs from at the South end of Battery Park in Lower Manhattan just West of the Staten Island Ferry terminal and Battery Gardens Restaurant. The location is easily reached by mass transit and there is convenient parking nearby for those travelling by car.
