Stomp Out Diabetes, presented by Meijer, Novo Nordisk, St. John Providence Center for Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine and Lilly Diabetes, will raise awareness and funds for the Southeast Michigan chapter of the American Diabetes Association.

Guests will experience exclusive wines from select regions provided by six of the area's top wine vendors. The wines will be paired with a custom menu prepared by the Townsend's executive chef.

"Stomp Out Diabetes is a prestigious event that has raised more than $300,000 for local and national diabetes research and programs, including our kids camp, Camp Midicha," says Mary Riegle, special events director at the American Diabetes Association's Southeast Michigan office. "Beyond having a great time, our mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected with diabetes."

In addition to fabulous wine sampling and delicious food, guests will enjoy a silent auction and entertainment. Brandon Roux, Local 4 Meteorologist (Type 1 diabetes) is the evening's guest speaker.
