Argentine opera singer, Florencia Fabis, suffered a stroke on stage while singing Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem" in San Juan. She died two days later at the age of 38. Below is a video of that performance.

Considered one of the most significant promises of international opera, soprano Florencia Fabris coral began her career in the Choir of Children 's Theatre Columbus led by Valdo Sciamarella and then entered the operatic music studio in the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome ( Italy , where she earned with her grades criterion of excellence as an opera singer in courses with Mirella Freni and Renata Scotto .

In Argentina attended the Masters of Song Lyric at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón and Bruno Censabella Reinaldo D'Astoli, perfect in vocal technique with Horacio Amauri Perez and Susana Cardonnet repertoire.

She highlighted her performances in " I Pagliacci "," Il Trovatore "," Madama Butterfly "," Francesca da Rimini "," Suor Angelica "," Nabucco "(Revelation the November 22, 2009 in the prestigious work of Verdi) and "Don Carlos", among other presentations that extolled as an artist of bel canto.

Fabris is survived by two children.
