Metropolis Opera Project presents The M.O.P. Bucket - 2nd Annual New Music Party, July 18th 2011 at Medicine Show Theatre. This one night only event will feature new works by Thomas Deneuville, Kate Kilbane (The Medea Cycle), Trish Causey (Musical Theatre Talk with Trish Causey), Sara Cooper & Zach Redler (Perez Hilton Saves the Universe - Best Musical, Fringe Festival), Christopher Sahar (Crossing The Straits), Jeremiah Bornfield and Nathan Cooke & Matt Schlatter (Marigold Opera).

The listening party will feature highlights from new operas as well as new works spanning the genres of electronica, chamber, rock, operetta and musical theatre.

The M.O.P. Bucket will be held at Medicine Show THEATRE (549 West 52nd Street) July 18th 2011 at 8:00pm. The event is FREE and open to the public. Cash bar featuring drink specials.

About the Metropolis Opera Project - Founded in 2009 by Broadway actor Zachary James (The Addams Family, South Pacific, Coram Boy), opera singer Megan Nelson (Knoxville Opera, Opera Providence, Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner) NYC composer Kristin Hevner Wyatt (League of Composers, Look and Listen Festival) and violinist Kiersten Cunningham (Anthology Strings), Metropolis Opera Project presents new operatic works in an intimate setting.
