Sejong Soloists will present its 2026 Gala Concert on Tuesday, May 12 at Carnegie Hall, with a 6:00 PM performance in Zankel Hall.
This Gala concert brings together Metropolitan Opera artists and longtime Sejong friends for a one-night celebration, featuring tenor Lawrence Brownlee, countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, violinist Chee-Yun, and soprano Hera Hyesang Park. In keeping with Sejong's emphasis on collaboration and virtuosity, the program combines vocal and instrumental favorites. The evening is co-hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Paula Zahn and Anthony Roth Costanzo.
The evening honors So-Chung Shinn Lee for her leadership and contributions to the arts. She is the former Board Chair of Sejong Soloists and is the Managing Director of the Board and Chairman of the Patron Program at the Metropolitan Opera.
The gala concert program will feature a selection of vocal and instrumental works highlighting Sejong Soloists' collaborative artistry. Proceeds from the evening support the ensemble's artistic initiatives, including commissions, performances, and programs for emerging artists.
