Vassy's 'Nothing To Lose' Hits #1 On Billboard Dance Charts

Singer, songwriter and producer VASSY has once again topped the Billboard Dance Club charts with her #1 hit single "Nothing To Lose." The song (written by VASSY and co-produced with Tiësto) has also peaked at #1 on the U.S. Dance Radio charts and Top 10 on the Billboard Dance/Mix show charts, with over 6 million streams and counting!

"Nothing to Lose" marks VASSY's first #1 solo dance record but her success is no coincidence. Her catchy lyrics and distinctive vocals have been featured in countless advertising campaigns (including Victoria's Secret, Target, Sketchers, Nike, and Pepsi), while her captivating sound has fueled some of the most timeless smash hits in electronic dance music history. Most notably, her 12 x Platinum collaboration "BAD" (with David Guetta and Showtek) catapulted her career into the spotlight and garnered her the IDMA award for Best Vocal Performance in 2015. The following year, VASSY proved to be a true triple threat by releasing "Secrets," the songstress's collaboration with Tiësto & Kshmr. The electro-house hit added more platinum records and awards to VASSY's already overflowing resume and she is now taking over festival arenas alongside Tiësto during his 2016 Ultra, Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland sets.

And now in February of 2017, VASSY is unveiling her true sound with "Unplugged," a thirteen-track acoustic collection that includes the talented artist's top hits as well as some of her personal favorites. At a time when many vocals are dramatically altered during production, VASSY's new release is a refreshing take on familiar songs that will have listeners stunned by both her enchanting vocals and pure guitar sound.

Originating from Australia with Greek heritage, VASSY, was first discovered by Australian Radio Station, Triple J, after winning song of the year. Her first solo single release "We Are Young" made it to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Charts. VASSY has received awards from the Australian Record Industry along with accolades from the International Dance Music Awards. Her philanthropic side includes teaching music workshops at AVIVA, a teenage safe house orphanage, working with Studio Samuel Foundation helping girls in Ethiopia, supporting and mentoring youth through Playground of Dreams, being an equal-rights ambassador for the NOH8 campaign and a spokesperson for environmental organization Green IT.
