Atlantic recording artist Vance Joy has announced plans for a major North American headline tour. The trek begins April 9th at The Showbox in Seattle and includes festival appearances at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Hangout Music Fest 2015, Boston Calling Music Festival, and Governors Ball NYC Music Festival.

The newly announced dates pave the way for Vance Joy's turn as main support on Taylor Swift's "The 1989 World Tour." Those shows begin May 20th at Bossier City, Louisiana's CenturyLink Center and then continue through a triumphant return to Vance Joy's native Australia, set for November 28th at Sydney's ANZ Stadium (see attached itinerary). "Riptide," Vance Joy's debut North American single, now certified platinum, remains a chart-conquering multi-format smash, nearing the top 30 of Billboard's "Hot 100" and Top 40 radio outlets nationwide. The track, which was just added into rotation at KIIS FM in Los Angeles, previously spent 5 weeks as the #1 song at Alternative outlets across the country. What's more, the "Riptide" companion video is now nearing 50 million individual views at http://youtu.be/uJ_1HMAGb4k.

"Riptide" was an international hit of the first order, earning total worldwide sales nearing four million. Five-times-platinum certified in his native Australia, the track was the highest selling single there in 2013. Additionally, "Riptide" is certified 3x platinum in Sweden; 2x platinum in Ireland and Canada; platinum in Norway; gold in Austria, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Vance Joy's extraordinary 2014 debut album, dream your life away, made an explosive arrival atop the iTunes Store's "Top Albums" chart in Australia, Canada, and South Africa while also entering Australia's national album chart at #1 and Billboard's "Canadian Albums" sales tally at #2.

"Mess Is Mine," the latest single from dream your life away, which has more than 20 million streams on Spotify, is shaping up as another multi-format success. The track is currently ascending the top 20 at Alternative outlets nationwide, with its companion video drawing more than 2.7 million views thus far at www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C816p-KTNk. Joy recently performed the song on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, marking the first performance of the song on US television: http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live/video/VDKA0_itjjdyq3.

Vance Joy a.k.a. Melbourne-based singer/songwriter James Keogh celebrated last year's release of dream your life away with his US late night television debut on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers. Named as VH1's "You Oughta Know" artist for the month of September, Vance Joy also spent much of 2014 traveling North America, including a sold-out headline tour and performances at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival.
