The past few months have been very busy for Montreal's trilingual MC Boogat. Aside from spending countless hours in the studio preparing his first full-length Spanish album to be released in the new year, Boogat also took some time to help the Movember campaign by recording a brand new song with Washington D.C. Tropical Bass producer G-Flux. Check out the video!

This funky digi-cumbia, entitled 'Moviembre' is a musical salute to the manliest of manly things…the mustache! Boogat spits fuego over a sizzling sonidero beat, celebrating the sexiness of the mustache in all its hairy glory!

The accompanying video, directed by Mariano Franco, is a vibrant and colorful nod to the cheekiness of the song. Both song and video are meant to support the efforts of Movember in a fun way. Part of the proceeds of the song sales will go to support Movember Canada and their initiatives.

Since its humble beginnings in Melbourne Australia, Movember has grown to become a truly global movement inspiring more than 1.9 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate with formal campaigns all over the world, including Canada. In 2011, over 854,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world got on board, raising $125.7 million CAD.
