VEVO Premieres Chris Young's 'Aw Naw' Video Today
Sometimes the best times are the ones you don't plan. It was a real-life 'I need to go home, aw naw I'm gonna hang-out night' that inspired "Aw Naw," the new single from Chris Young's forthcoming album A.M. With a music video that captures the energy of the song, VEVO, the world's leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform, is set to premier the clip today, June 27 at noon eastern.
"With a song like "Aw Naw," you have to have a fun music video," said Chris. "The night we shot the video we didn't wrap until 4 am but we had a lot of laughs and pulled a few pranks but we stayed hydrated with aw naw juice," laughed Chris. Filmed by award winning director Chris Hicky, the video was shot on location in Nashville and includes Chris Young's band members.
"Aw Naw," written by Young, Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano, is quickly becoming a party anthem at his live shows. The song is available now on iTunes and other digital music destinations. His new album, A.M. will be released September 17 and the new record can be preordered now on Amazon http://smarturl.it/A.M.Amazon
Recently named one of this summer's best opening acts by Entertainment Weekly, catch Chris performing his 5 #1 hits plus new favorite "Aw Naw" on the "Beat This Summer Tour" with Brad Paisley through August. Young has spent the first half of this year headlining his Liquid Neon Tour, which kicked off last fall with a sold-out show from Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium. He's gone global in 2013 with performances in Ireland, the UK, and Australia.
