Tiffany Coburn Releases First National Gospel Recording

Tiffany Coburn Releases First National Gospel Recording

You may recognize her as a longstanding performer with Disney's Voices of Liberty, as a founding member of the incredibly popular acapella force Voctave, or from sold-out symphony concerts across the country. Her stellar voice has brought happiness to friends and families for decades. Today, Tiffany Coburn (Narrow Gate Entertainment/StowTown Records/Provident) is excited to share with the world her latest project, "Near to the Heart: Cherished Hymns & Songs of Inspiration," featuring two newly discovered hymns from America's Hymn Queen, Fanny Crosby.

Tiffany states, "Mrs. Crosby has written some of the most recognized hymns and after more than a century, they are still being sung in churches worldwide. And when I heard there were new, unpublished, hymns written by her, I could hardly wait to bring them to life. I hope you enjoy listening to "Jesus" and "Not In My Strength" as much as I do singing them."

Those two jewels, with many others can be found on this latest project. When asked about why it was important to Tiffany, she said, "Hymns have always been a part of my life. I have always included them in my concerts. They bring back memories of growing up in church and singing in the choir. I can still hear my Mother and Grandmother singing them with me. Hymns have powerful words that, when I sing them, they minister to me as I hope they do for others. It is my hope that this music brings back memories and maybe even introduces new memories as you listen."

Aside from her continued performances at Epcot's American Pavilion, Tiffany is enjoying an active tour schedule. She is currently on tour with Gospel music's most decorated female group, Point of Grace, and has recently performed with Gospel music icons Sandi Patty and Larnelle Harris.

Tiffany's distinct vocal style ushers in a new era for inspirational Christian music, a genre made popular by platinum selling artists like Patty and Harris, yet it has not seen new national talent in recent years.

"One of the greatest characteristics of Gospel music is how it is presented through many different varieties - from southern Gospel to urban contemporary and everything in between," states Mike Swift of Narrow Gate Entertainment. "I am witnessing a shift where audiences are returning to powerful vocalists presenting foundational truth in the inspirational format. I am encouraged by the younger generation who is listening to and embracing Tiffany."

Masterfully arranged and produced by Wayne Haun, this collection reintroduces sacred hymns while seamlessly transitions to new inspirational songs that are sure to become classics. Listeners will enjoy lush orchestration, crystal clear vocals, and lyrics with a message that matters.

Tiffany Coburn's "Near To The Heart: Cherished Hymns & Songs of Inspiration" is available Friday, January 18 in retail outlets nationwide as well as all digital platforms.
