The Moody Blues, formed in England in 1964, are still rocking in 2014 with original members Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge, and will perform at the Van Wezel on March 24, 2014.

For over thirty years, The Moody Blues have been musical mainstays on concert stages, recordings and the airwaves. They have released 24 albums- generating over 55 million album sales- earning 18 platinum discs and a whole host of awards; in 1994 The Moody Blues were inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame.

Their first full studio album, Days Of Future Passed was released on November 19, 1967 (featuring one of the biggest-selling singles of all time, "Nights In White Satin.") the album became a milestone in rock recording and stayed on the Billboard charts for over two years. Following the album the Moody's toured in Great Britain and Europe. In August 1968 they released their second album In Search Of The Last Chord (featuring "Ride My See-Saw" and "Voices In The Sky.") In October of the same year the Moody's began their first concert tour of the USA.
