TREAT YOU BETTER and DESPACITO Are Most-Performed Songs of 2017 on Karaoke App Smule

Smule, the biggest social network for music, (52m MAU, 20 million songs performed daily) has released its lists of the most-performed karaoke songs through its Sing! Karaoke app. Here are the results:

Shawn Mendes' 'Treat You Better' is the most performed song of 2017, beating out the likes of Luis Fonsi's hit, 'Despacito' and James Arthur's 'Say You Won't Let Go'More than 20 million songs are performed daily on Smule's apps (link) by more than 50 million active users, which include Sing! Karaoke (the only social platform that lets people perform music together, and it also offers Instagram-style voice filtering), Magic Piano, AutoRap and Guitar!

With over 11 million downloads and an average of 175,000 active users daily, Smule's Sing! Karaoke app allows users to sing and record a song from its extensive (and constantly updated) library, then invite friends to join in and turn that solo act into a duet -- and so on and so forth -- making it one global karaoke party. In addition to this contest, Smule will be updating its apps for the highly anticipated iOS7 release.
