THE INSANITY OF GOD with DAVID PLATT Coming to Comes to Theaters Nationwide This August

The true story of Christian missionaries Nik and Ruth Ripken will be shown in select U.S. cinemas for a special one-night feature event, "THE INSANITY OF GOD with DAVID PLATT," on Tuesday, August 30 at 7:00 p.m. local time. This event encompasses the amazing stories of faith at work in some of the darkest places throughout the world. After the feature presentation, there will be a Q&A with Nik Ripken and International Mission Board President, author and speaker David Platt, as well as a performance of "Dimitri's Song" (featured in the production) by musical artist Todd Smith.

Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 450 movie theaters through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network. This feature is based on the best-selling book, "The Insanity of God" (B&H Publishing), and is released in association with the International Mission Board (IMB). This will be the first theatrical release from LifeWay Films when it opens in theaters across the U.S. on August 30 as a one-night event.
