The Soul Rebels, described by VICE/Noisey as "New Orleans' finest brass ensemble," will return to Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY for a special one-night show on Friday, August 15 at 8:00PM (following two sold-out engagements at the venue in 2013 and early 2014).

Presented by Okayplayer, the show will feature the band with an impressive lineup of New York's most acclaimed hip-hop artists, including Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Jean Grae, Skyzoo & Torae and a surprise guest (to be announced prior to show). Describing the upcoming program, Okayplayer wrote: "Each MC will take the stage to perform a track from their respective catalogs [with the band]...The Soul Rebels add their brass band expertise and hip-hop aesthetic to the mix to create what stands to be a once-in-a-lifetime performance."

Tickets are $15 and available for purchase via Ticketfly . Doors will open at 6:00PM. For more information on the show, please visit brooklynbowl.com.

The Soul Rebels appearance at Brooklyn Bowl is part of extensive national and international tour activity this summer, including a highly anticipated debut at San Francisco's Outside Lands scheduled on Friday, August 8 (performing on the main stage that will also feature Chromeo, Disclosure, and Kanye West on the same day).

In December 2013, the band released a critically acclaimed, eclectic mixtape, Power = Power, as a free download. The project covers Daft Punk, Jay-Z, and Drake, among others. Other recent collaborations include performances with Big Freedia, The String Cheese Incident, Metallica, Styles P, Maceo Parker, and a special private session with Rick Ross, among others.
