Shairah to Donate Percentage of Tour Sales to BC Children's Hospital

International Canadian Artist SHAIRAH (pronounced Shy-EE-rah) returns to Vancouver to kick off her 2013 world tour starting with the highly anticipated Sunday May 19th show at The Vogue Theatre sponsored by The Georgia Straight.
"When I learned The BC Children's Hospital needed more space I thought, how can I help?" mused SHAIRAH, which led to her decision to donate 10% of her upcoming concert ticket sales and 10 % iTunes album sales starting May 1st up an until May 19th.
Be whisked away by SHAIRAH and her 10 piece Big Band into a night filled with music of enticing original Big Band Jazz tunes infused with contemporary R&B/Funk. SHAIRAH's captivating live performance is reminiscent of the classic appeal of Marilyn Monroe / Rita Hayward meets the modern day strength of Jennifer Lopez / Rihanna. With her charismatic stage persona, SHAIRAH will make you fall in love with this sultry songstress and her music all over again.
