Today, brand new artist Sandro Cavazza has returned with new single "Don't Hold Me," out today. The song is the 2nd taste from his forthcoming debut EP out this April. See NYLON's premiere now HERE.
A track which Cavazza says is about "a relationship that's not great for you and you need to let go,""Don't Hold Me" marches forward with brooding elegance finding solace in its deeply personal confessional. "Don't Hold Me" follows last month's release of debut track, "What It Feels Like," a striking debut mixing subtle electronics with lush string flourishes and cradled by Cavazza's gorgeous longing vocal. The track was accompanied by a live session video, remixes from Italy's ANGEMI, Denmark's KANT, and SF up-and-comer Ben Maxwell, as well as a subdued acoustic version of the track, a rendition showcasing the song's raw backbone in its most confidently simple form. See all versions at the links below. Sandro is no newcomer to songwriting and has been honing his chops since childhood. He's since found a stride in honest, straightforward pop music anchored by a voice that is emotive in its most undeniable form. "The songs are all connected by honesty," he proclaims.Videos
