Ramsey Lewis & John Pizzarelli Postponed at Van Wezel

Ramsey Lewis and John Pizzarelli have rescheduled their Sarasota performance Straighten Up and Fly Right - The Nat King Cole Tribute due to illness. The performance was originally set for Wednesday, January 10 at 8PM. The rescheduled date is Sunday, February 11 at 8PM.

A spokesman for Mr. Lewis released the following statement: "Ramsey was admitted to the hospital Friday morning with severe abdominal pain. After tests, it was determined that old scar tissue was causing the pain and he underwent surgery to resolve the issue. The procedure was a success and Ramsey has since been released from the hospital, but his Sarasota concert must be postponed so he can properly recuperate. He apologizes for any inconvenience and looks forward to seeing his fans on the new performance date."

Patrons of the Van Wezel who purchased tickets to the original performance date will be able to retain their seats and use their original tickets for entry on the new date. If ticketholders cannot attend the rescheduled date they may return their tickets for an exchange, account credit or refund.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
