Prelow and LostBoyCrew Unveil New Single SOME NIGHTS

New York City-based Atlantic Records recording duo Prelow have joined forces with recent tour mate and long time friend, LA-based pop artist Lostboycrow, for their dreamy new song "Some Nights." The song, which Good Music All Day praised as "a beautiful, millennial track that incorporates the sway of a pop single and the melody of a Daniel Caesar-like R&B song," is available now HERE.

"The idea for 'Some Nights' started from something we had tweeted," says Prelow. "'some nights just catching somebody looking at you is enough.' We really liked that sentiment and had tried it over a few different beats before it really made it sense. And it was great writing and fleshing the track out with Lostboycrow."

Widely hailed for their carefree nocturnal narratives and crafty indietronic soundscapes, Prelow are drawing acclaim as an energetic and inventive live act. The duo rocked North America in 2017 alongside Lostboycrow and DYSN on the popular "Spin The Globe" and "Spin The Globe Part Two" tours. "Some Nights" arrives on the heels of their single "Back When" and continues their catalog of incredibly catchy singles.

Their other notable 2018 releases include "Super Cool," "Good People Do Bad Things," and Phoebe Ryan/London O'Connor collaboration, "Goes To s."Ones To Watch praised "Good People Do Bad Things" for its "electro bounce, swaddled in soulful guitar riffs and wavy synths," and Culture Collide asserts that "With a solid footing in hip hop beats and electro pop stylings, Prelow feature youthful lyrics with a social commentary... [they] stay aligned with their signature sound taking a small turn toward indie rock."

With beats rooted in hip-hop bounce, humming and hypnotic guitars, and lyrics that read like lines lifted from a Wes Anderson film, Prelow have earned worldwide attention and more than 20 million streams via Spotify alone, all before unleashing a full-length debut album. 2017 saw the duo follow up on 2015's breakthrough WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAPPEN SO MUCH EP with a number of solid standalone singles, including "Guitar Beat," "I Don't Wanna End The Night," and "Backseat," the latter of which was joined by an official music video that premiered on Blackbook and can be viewed now at Prelow's official YouTube channel. Prelow are currently in the studio collaborating with producers Anthony Kilhoffer (Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott) and Max Hershenow (Ms Mr., Lostboycrow).

Lostboycrow is an idea that pays homage to new beginnings and a poignant heritage, best described as a Pop minded vocalist's dark love affair with the world of modern R&B. Still shrouded in mystery, the idea of Lostboycrowis the foundation for what we know about him as a musician. Sonically, the Los Angeles artist delves in to the world of introspective dance music. He takes pride in his thoughtful and provocative lyrics, but doesn't forget to cater to the current Pop-centric audience. Lostboycrow gives a voice to the voiceless through his storytelling ability while sonically finding the perfect medium between Pop, R&B, and Electronic music.
