Today, June 21, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the Australasian Performing Rights Association Music Awards in Sydney, Australia. The Australasian Performing Right Association Limited (APRA) was established in 1926 and now administers the performing and communication rights of 60,000+ composer, songwriter and music publisher members in Australia and New Zealand. The annual APRA Awards recognize the achievements of their songwriter, composer and publisher members across all genres of music. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.
