New Podcast From Night Vale Presents 'Dreamboy' Premieres Oct 23 Premiering on October 23, DREAMBOY is the creation of storyteller, performer and composer Dane Terry, and Ellie Heyman, who was a co-director and co-developer of The Orbiting Human Circus (of the Air) podcast. Set over a few flickering nights in Cleveland, DREAMBOY is a mystery about dreams, unexplained deaths, relentless change, and the parts of ourselves that we wish other people knew to look for.

DREAMBOY's narrator Dane is a spun-out New York City musician spending two months housesitting for a friend in the quiet, woodsy neighborhood of Pepper Heights on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. While he's there Dane has very simple plans: write an album and try not to waste all of his time on Grindr.

He gets a job at a small neighborhood theme park called the Pepper Heights Zoo, which is immersed in headline-making controversy: Zoe the Zebra, the much-beloved star attraction at the zoo, faces possible court-mandated euthanasia after she mauled a rich kid to death to last summer. Dane also befriends his kooky neighbor Cora, who dreams about people's deaths, then bakes monogramed cakes to send to each of the people she dreamt about. One night, Cora tells Dane that she has a special cake to send, and that he must be the one to deliver it... to a boy he's yet to meet.

The boy has a gravitational pull, and soon Dane is swept into a nocturnal world of drag queens, street light repairmen, shared nightmare creatures, and an uncanny posse of little girls who intend on cracking the conspiracy of Zoe the Zebra once and for all.

A production of Night Vale Presents, DREAMBOY is inspired by the cinematic blockbusters of Spielberg, and is driven by Terry's original compositions, which soundtrack the entire show. Based on Terry's play "Jupiter's Lifeless Moons," which premiered earlier this year as part of Performance Space 122's COIL festival, DREAMBOY features performances by Terry, Michael Cavadias (Wonder Boys, Girls, Difficult People), Cecil Baldwin (Welcome to Night Vale, Gravity Falls), Erin Markey (A Ride on the Irish Cream), Morgan Meadows and Avery Leigh Draut (Jupiter's Lifeless Moons).

DREAMBOY will be available for free on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and wherever listeners get their shows. Listeners can find more information at www.dreamboypodcast.com and www.nightvalepresents.com.
