Marcus Goldhaber to Kick Off Summer 2015 Residency at Bar Thalia This Saturday
As the "Spring Swing" continues toward his mid-summer headlining debut at 54 Below, acclaimed NYC jazz vocalist-songwriter MARCUS GOLDHABER will be debuting a completely new live event THIS SATURDAY at BAR THALIA @ SYMPHONY SPACE to celebrate the start of his summer residency there. Saturday's performance starts at 9 PM.
It's the premiere of MARCUS GOLDHABER UNPLUGGED -- an acoustic duo performance in which Goldhaber is stripping down his original material "to the bone" like never before, laying bare his voice while exposing the strength of his songwriting.
Marcus is touring behind his fourth album, "A Lovely Way to Spend An Evening," released in the fall, which earned Honorable Mentions for Best Album of 2014 in the Quincy (MA) Patriot-Ledger and The Improper. The powerful, 12-track collection reintroduces some of Goldhaber's favorite standards alongside five originals.
