Singer, songwriter and TV host Lisa Bouchelle headlines the Rockin' Rahway New Year's Eve Bash Wednesday, Dec. 31 with an 8:30 p.m. concert at Hamilton Stage, 360 Hamilton Street, in Rahway.

Presented by Split Level Concerts, tickets are $25 and available online at www.ucpac.org, by calling (732) 499-8226 or in person at Union County Performing Arts Center box office, 1601 Irving Street, Rahway. New York folk-rocker Luke Elliot will open.

After performing as backup vocalist for Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Daryl Hall and Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, Lisa Bouchelle's solo career took rapid flight with a pair of albums, Passion Makes Perfect and Tricks With Pretty Wordz, that marked her as an original talent in the acoustic pop genre.

Two additional records followed (Paint Your Dreams and Bleu Room with a Red Vase) that saw her tour nationally with Blues Traveler and open for iconic performers such as Bryan Adams, Nancy Sinatra, Kansas, John Waite, Nils Lofgren and Richard Marx, among others.

As host of her nationally syndicated cooking show, Rock Star Kitchen, Lisa Bouchelle makes time for her other creative passion: healthy, delicious food.

The show's formula is simple - famous musicians prepare their favorite meals, then perform. Rock Star Kitchen appears on Comcast Network, NBCNonStop and Tuff TV and has featured Foreigner, Eddie Money, Theory Of A Deadman, Daughtry, John Popper, The Fixx, Gloria Gaynor, Dee Snider, Night Ranger, Chubby Checker, Lita Ford and more.
