LadyLand Festival Set for June 22 at Brooklyn Mirage, Lineup Includes Eve, SOPHIE, Tommy Genesis, & More

Nightlife impresario Ladyfag is pleased to announce LadyLand, her first annual queer music

festival in celebration of Pride Month. The festival will run from 5PM - 4 AM on June 22nd. There will be further artist announcements in coming weeks.

Set at Brooklyn Mirage, a lush courtyard paradise in the heart of industrial Brooklyn, LadyLand features a varied roster of live acts, from local UNDERGROUND hip hop artists to internationally acclaimed DJs to respected pop icons. In addition to music, LadyLand provides a platform for up-and-coming artists and designers at the pop-up marketplace 'Pop Souk,' which will be located in King's Hall.

Eve is not only a rapper, but an actress and talk show host whose plethora of talents has gained her major credibility and notoriety on the international music scene, including being the inaugural winner of the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

Last year, the innovative artist and producer SOPHIE, who has collaborated with the likes of Rihanna, Charli XCX, and Cashmere Cat,released her first music since 2012's PRODUCT EP. With her cathartic self-directed video for "It's Okay To Cry," she showed a deeper dimension of her music; the ever-evolving artist continually explores, distorts and evolves pop culture from inside and out.

Following the success of her first mixtape World Vision, which received critical acclaim from the likes of Vogue, The FADER, Dazed, Noisey, Elle, W, PAPER, Tommy Genesis signed to Downtown/Interscope records to release her debut single, "Tommy." In order to prevent the conflation of her personal identities with her creative abilities, she elects to withhold her age and full name from the public.

Kim Petras has had a meteoric ASCENSION in the last year. Her debut single "I Don't Want It All" shot to #1 on the Global Spotify Viral Chart, and she has amassed over 12 million streams on Spotify in the last 6 months. Kim began transitioning with female hormone therapy following her 12th birthday, and received gender reassignment surgery at the age of 16; her experiences contribute to her particular brand of escapist pop, rooted in a BOUNDLESS capacity for empathy.

Detroit born Mike Servito debuted in 1995 at Dat's Poorboy parties and was a resident at blackbx and Ghostly's Untitled and Interdimensional Transmissions' No Way Back parties before finding a proper home in Brooklyn with a residency at The Bunker.

Part of the New Jersey-based 070 crew, 070 Shake's smoky voice and honest lyricism garnered the attention of Kanye West and in 2017 she signed to G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam.

Kembra Pfahler has done things that many people would cringe upon considering. Along with the Girls of Karen Black, she provides audiences with hyperbolic gore-soaked punk performances that in the past have included having her vagina sewn shut.

Ladyfag is a celebrated NYC event producer dubbed "a nightlife sorceress" by the New York Times and "the woman saving New York nightlife" by Paper Magazine. She is a dichotomy, throwing fashion events for some of the most renowned and prestigious brands in the world, all while keeping downtown New York and Brooklyn busy dancing.
