Kaleo Announce North American Tour

GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band Kaleo has announced a series of North American live dates. The group kicks off the trek in Vancouver on June 23rd at the PNE Amphitheatre, and then continues into July (see full itinerary below). Currently nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for "Best Rock Performance" (honoring their smash single, "No Good"), Kaleo has quickly risen to the upper ranks of contemporary alternative rock with electrifying live performances, indelible singles, and a landmark debut album in 2016's worldwide breakthrough, A/B. The album made a top 10 debut on SoundScan's "Current Albums" chart and #15 on the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200 while also taking the #3 spot on both the "Rock Albums" and "Alternative Albums" tallies as well as #6 on "Digital Albums."

A/B proved a global blockbuster, reaching the iTunes Store's top 10 in 19 countries around the world, 12 of which saw the album reach the top 3, including the US and the UK. In addition, "A/B" has received platinum certification in both Canada and Russia, as well as gold certification in France. In total, the album and songs from it have accumulated 23 certifications around the world.

Primarily recorded in Nashville alongside producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay), with additional contributions from Mike Crossey, Arnar Guðjónsson and the band, "A/B" includes the multi-format rock smashes, "All The Pretty Girls," "No Good," and the RIAA platinum certified, #1 breakthrough "Way Down We Go," all written by Kaleo lead singer JJ Julius Son. "Way Down We Go" has surpassed 1.1 million in consumption in the US alone, and the companion video recently surpassed 100 million views.

The GRAMMY® Award-nominated "No Good" marked Kaleo's fourth consecutive top 10 rock radio smash across three formats. Hailed as a "gritty, Jack White-esque blues-rock anthem" by Rolling Stone, "No Good" was first featured on VINYL: MUSIC FROM THE HBO® ORIGINAL SERIES - VOLUME 1, Atlantic Records' first soundtrack companion to the blockbuster HBO® series.

One of NPR's "Top Listened To Artists of 2016," Kaleo celebrated "A/B" with nearly non-stop touring around the world. Highlights include sold out headline shows spanning New York to Moscow, a European run supporting the Rolling Stones, and memorable sets at such international festivals as Denmark's Tinderbox, Spain's Benicàssim, Ireland's Longitude, the UK's Latitude, and our own Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo.
