KEM's 1st Christmas Album, WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS, to be Released 10/16

Two-time Grammy Award-nominated Motown artist KEM's first holiday album, WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS, will be in stores next week with an October 16 release, and is available for pre-order now on Amazon.

"I think people will be pleasantly surprised at how sensual and romantic this album is, considering it?s a holiday record. Christmas is a holiday of being warm and cozy with the one you love...I believe it can be even more romantic and intimate than Valentine's Day," Kem said. "My Christmas album is the best music I have recorded to date, and my hope is that people will be playing it for years to come."

KEM is giving fans a sneak peek at the 10-song collection of original and cover holiday classics during the 10 days leading up to the album's release. A clip of each song will be posted daily by KEM on his Facebook page (www.facebook.com/KEMofficial), until October 16, when the album will be available in stores.

WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS is the fourth Motown release by lifelong Detroiter, KEM. The 10-song album consists of five original Christmas compositions and five traditional holiday classics.
