John Denver Tribute, Clint Black & More to Play Van Wezel this Weekend

This weekend, the Van Wezel will be offering three concerts that will surely have you on your feet. Thursday, November 21 are the folk-rock legends of America. With over 40 years of recording, touring and songwriting under their belt, America brings you classics like "A Horse With No Name," "Sister Golden Hair," "Ventura Highway," and "Tin Man." Friday, November 22, country mega star, Clint Black stops by to rock the house with his toe tapping, guitar slinging, brand of country. A jack of all instruments, Clint Black is highly involved in the writing and production of his music, a feat not often touted by many modern country artists. On Saturday, November 23, the John Denver: Rocky Mountain High Concert Celebration gives Sarasota the opportunity to witness a number of John Denver's original band members playing through a hit laden set-list in sync with video footage of John Denver performing the same song on a massive backdrop. Lastly, Sunday, November 24 features Cirque Dreams Holidaze to help you gear up for the holiday season.
