25 miles, 500 miles, 1000 miles - the pop world owes much to these daring proclamations of linear love, but Highasakite embarks uncharted territory on their new single, stepping it up a notch with "5 Million Miles." Stream/embed the track HERE. The band will make their US TV debut on CONAN May 2nd (11/10c on TBS)

"'5 Million Miles" highlights the soaring signature vocal of Ingrid Helene Håvik, this time in collaboration with pop-production powerhouse STARGATE (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sia, P!nk) and mixed by Grammy-Award winner and repeat Billboard offender MILES WALKER. It navigates meteoric apocalypse with effortless pop sheen, signaling Highasakite's first new music since #1 charting, Norwegian Grammy-winning sophomore album, 2016's Camp Echo - Propeller Recordings.

The single follows Highasakite's recent performance at the Nobel Peace Prize, where Håvik caught the attention of Conan O'Brien and led to a May 2 appearance on Conan (Weeknights 11/10c TBS) where the band will make their US TV Debut!

Highasakite has gone from strength-to-strength since releasing Camp Echo - the album has been streamed more than 20 MILLION times and earned them main stage headlining slots at Norway's five biggest festivals; Glastonbury, Latitude (UK), Hurricane (DE), Roskilde (DK) and Field Day (AUS); and sold out venues spanning the UK, US and Australia. The album is internationally acclaimed, inciting rave reviews from the likes of Vogue, MOJO, The Guardian, The Independent, The FADER, Q Magazine and The Line of Best Fit. Not to mention, repeat play-listing at triple j (AUS) and #1 Radio Chart in Norway.

Highasakite's debut LP of 2014 Silent Treatment still holds the record for longest consecutive run in Norwegian chart history, having spent more than two years in the Top 40. "5 Million Miles" is supported by countless live dates and high-profile appearances throughout 2017, in addition to a SOLD OUT 9,000 capacity arena show at Oslo Spektrum last month.
