Garth Brooks to Celebrate 3 Years at Wynn With 2 Upcoming Concerts

After spending 3 years together at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas, Steve Wynn and Garth Brooks are proud to announce that they are planning to film the upcoming Memorial Day and July 4th weekend concerts to memorialize his time on the Encore Theater stage, the special will also then be available on DVD.

"Any day that Garth is in the Wynn is a good day for the hotel and a great night for the audience," said Steve Wynn. Garth began his run at the Encore Theater in December of 2009 and played the final show there in November of 2012.

On Memorial Day weekend there will be 2 shows on Friday night May 24 and 2 shows on Saturday night, May 25 at 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Tickets will go on sale this Monday, May 6 at (10:00 a.m. PST) for ($125 plus a $7.50 service charge and a $13.25 tax to equal a total of $145.75). Tickets will be available at www.wynnlasvegas.com or by calling 702.770.1000 or www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000.

On July 4th weekend there will be one show on Friday night, July 5 and one show on Saturday night July 6 at 8:00 PM. Tickets for the July 4th weekend will not go on sale until June 3.

About Garth Brooks

ABC World News Tonight declared Garth The Person of the Week and the Mayor of Nashville announced that this was a record December for downtown Nashville merchants due to the over 145,000 who attended the concerts.

In January, 2012 he was named the best selling artist of the last two decades by Billboard, Nielson and Soundscan, with a whopping 68.5 million sales. Brooks also sold out his recent appearance at the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. The sell out 15,000+ seats happened in less then a minute. Garth was recently inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York as well as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In October he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Performing for his induction were his heroes George Strait, James Taylor and Bob Seger.
