FRIDAYS BY THE FOUNTAIN Summer Series Returns to Morris PAC Today
The Morris Performing Arts Center, South Bend, in conjunction with Sunny 101.5 and WNDU are pleased to announce the Beacon Health System Fridays by the Fountain, the 15th annual FREE outdoor summer concert series.
Rock, Irish, Blues, R&B, Country and Folk regional bands, along with the Indiana University South Bend Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts students will take "the stage" in the Jon R. Hunt Plaza in front of the historic Morris Performing Arts Center during lunchtime from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. every Friday in June, July and August.

July 17 ....... The Getdowns (Americana/Rock/Country)
July 24 ....... Denny Snyder (Blues)
July 31 ........ Top Secret (Rock)
August 7 ..... Oblates of Blues (Blues)
August 14 .... Whistle Pigs (Rock/Jazz/R&B)
August 21 .... Terry & the Heartbeats (Rock/Pop/R&B)
August 28 .... Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts

Lunch will be available to purchase from the Morris Bistro Restaurant, Papa John's Pizza, and Skinny's Hotdogs. A variety of lunchtime favorites including pizza, hotdogs, sandwiches, and salads will be available. Downtown South Bend, Inc., ambassadors will move the Red Table Concert Series tables and chairs to the Jon R. Hunt Plaza on Fridays. People are welcome to bring a sack lunch, a chair or blanket and relax on the lawn.
Since 2001, Fridays by the Fountain has attracted a wide audience to the plaza. Area business people, families, youth, and senior citizens have come to enjoy the free concerts, outdoor dining and the spectacular plaza fountain. The 2015 concert series is presented by Beacon Health System and supporting sponsors which underwrite the cost of the bands.
