Since that time, the band has reissued their first two albums with bonus tracks, a 'lost' album that was never commercially available and have new material coming in support of these Summer tour dates. What's more, the band has been busy playing live shows in the United States and working on new projects. These include recording new music for the documentary Girl Rising (http://10x10act.org/girl-rising/) and taking part in TOMS shoes and Eyewear One For One Giving Trip in Cambodia (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb7P7b4FYQo).

Since their inception in 2002, Dengue Fever's unique take on '60s Cambodian pop and American surf rock has garnered praise and attention from fans and critics alike. True Blood named an entire episode after one of their songs and featured the band's music throughout the show. Recently the bands music has appeared on CBS' CSI: Las Vegas,The Hangover 2 and numerous documentaries. Spin highlighted the band in their 'Breaking Out' section, and profiles on the group have appeared in the New York Times, Mojo, Magnet, Wired, and NPR's "Fresh Air" and Radio Australia. Ray Davies from the Kinks called them "a cross between Led Zeppelin and Blondie."

Dengue Fever is Cambodian songstress Chhom Nimol, Zac Holtzman (guitar/vocals), Ethan Holtzman (keyboards), Senon Williams (bass), Paul Smith (drums) and David Ralicke (horns). They have released five albums, Dengue Fever, Escape From Dragon House, Venus On Earth, Cannibal Courtship, In The Ley Lines and the DVD/CD soundtrack to the band's documentary, Sleepwalking Through The Mekong, in addition to a collection of lost Cambodian classics, Dengue Fever Presents: Electric Cambodia.
