David Ippolito began singing in Central Park on June 14, 1992, and this summer wrapped up his 25th year as That Guitar Man® From Central Park. This Saturday, December 3, at the "Something'th Annual Year End Concert," Ippolito releases "That Guitar Man From Central Park, The Songs of David Ippolito", a songbook filled with the music and lyrics of more than 20 original songs.

At Saturday's annual concert, Ippolito is joined by George Wurzbach on piano, Ryan Cavan on drums, Chris Tedesco on the fiddle, Dan Paccione on bass, and Teresa Reynolds on vocals, along with special surprise guests, which in the past have included veteran folk singer Christine Lavin and Jimmy Buffet's original guitarist, Roger Bartlett.

Ippolito also debuts a new song, "Dreamers Like Me", with lyrics reminiscent of songwriters who've inspired his commitment to using music to connect us all, such as John Lennon and James Taylor.

As a troubadour, Ippolito marks the end of his 25th year as NYC's own "That Guitar Man® From Central Park." He remains a Central Park draw because of his ability to create a unifying experience where the people sitting on the "Hill" sing along, laugh, dance on the path and shout out requests for song after song, which Ippolito replicates at his year-end indoor celebratory concert.

Ippolito, who has written the music and lyrics to over 100 songs, is an award-winning singer/songwriter with nine self-produced albums of original music, and a playwright, with several works in progress, including The Green Room, for which he is in talks to bring to the New York stage in 2017.
