Chicago Artist Taco Releases New Visuals for 'The Truth'

Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes presents the release of the "The Truth" music video by Taco. The new visual was directed by @flyfellamarco. Collaborator GS makes a guest appearance in the new video as well.

Christopher "Taco" Toney is a 26 year old artist from Chicago, IL. His love for music and potential to inspire change in today's society is what motivates his dedication for music. Taco's passion for rapping began in 2002 when he was in the 8th grade. Since then it has grown tremendously. Taco recently obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business from Northern Illinois University.

Taco currently resides in Chicago, and has recently dropped a mixtape titled "The Truth". This mixtape goes into factual details about his personal life. Through his creative writing and musical skills, he hopes that the youth will strive to take a positive approach to living life. Taco represents his city in a unique fashion. He is not the average drill rapper coming out of Chicago. His lyrics come straight from the heart; based on his very own life experiences, which he feels many should know about. His music has meaning, with passion and pain expressed through lyrics. His influences come from some of the best artists in today's music industry; J. Cole, T.I., Lupe Fiasco, Nas and Tupac. His favorite quote is by none other than J. Cole himself: "There is no such thing as a life better than yours." This quote motivates him in a way like no other pushing him to go harder and be different from his peers.
