Celina Carvajal & More Set for NYTB in the D-Lounge, 5/31

On Monday, May 31st, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the music of Chris Wade and Gregory Jacobs-Roseman. Performers for the evening include Celina Carvajal (Tarzan, Rooms, MTV's Legally Blonde: Search for the Next Elle Woods) and Christina De Cicco (Wicked, The Marvelous Wonderettes). Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Karen Marshall.
The first set of the evening will be Chris Wade's 29LIVES, comprised of haunting songs that capture the loneliness and complexities of urban life for those approaching 30. Featured in the first set will be Dave Albulario, Renee Albulario, Celina Carvajal, Erin Cronician, Christina De Cicco, Anna Egnes, Anna Marquardt, Mark Mozingo, Tyler Rubensaal, Erik Sisco, and Amanda Stocker.The second set will be Party Like Me: The Songs of Gregory Jacobs-Roseman. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Flag Day...there's always a reason to celebrate. Party Like Me is a collection of songs by composer/lyricist Gregory Jacobs-Roseman celebrating life, love, and... Well, buy us a martini or two and we'll sing to celebrate even your last root canal if you want! A plethora of songs are shaken and stirred into this fabulous musical cocktail, which is best enjoyed while having fun with your closest friends. So grab a seat at the bar, order a drink, and join the party! Directed by Nikki Rothenberg, Party Like Me will feature Emily Afton, Rachel James, Haley Bond Petersen, Jill Rensing, David Sharrocks, Mary Ann Schaub, and Akilah Williams.
