Casey Spooner's SPANISH TEENAGER Released, Video Out 1/11

On January 11th, Casey Spooner celebrates the release of "Spanish Teenager," the first single off his forthcoming debut solo album, ADULT CONTEMPORARY, which releases Tuesday, January 25th. "Spanish Teenager," co-written with Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and produced by Jeff Saltzman, is a sun-drenched paean to youth and the sexy Mediterranean vibe. The dreamy song is complimented with an erotic heat stroke of a video directed by Luke Gilford.

Spooner gained critical-acclaim over the past decade with FISCHERSPOONER, his musical collaboration with Warren Fischer. With jangling guitars, live percussion and rawer vocals, ADULT CONTEMPORARY is miles away from the high-gloss electric sheen of FISCHERSPOONER. This looser, rock-based album is built on soaring melodies and swarms of sounds - garage, surf, punk and pop - resulting in a collection of songs Spooner calls "the most emotional work I have ever made."

Spooner's much anticipated music video premieres exclusively on NOWNESS.com, slated to go live at approximately 12:00am on Tuesday, January 11th.
