Carly Jamison Releases Music Video for 'No Easy Way Out'

The official music video for "No Easy Way Out", the second single from the album "Ungrounded", made its video debut today. Not only was the song written and performed by singer-songwriter Carly Jamison, but she also produced and directed the video.

"I found myself becoming immersed in the music video as art concept when I was working on the videos for my four Christmas songs at the end of last year," said Jamison. "I found that creating videos can be just as much a creative outlet as writing songs. Although I am and always will be a music purist, and believe that the images created inside your head when you listen to music are the best video for any song, I have accepted the fact that I am in the minority with that belief."

"No Easy Way Out" was co-written with Tres Sasser who also produced the album. He said, "I had recently been listening to some ELO and George Harrison and was thinking about doing something that was a little bit of a departure from a lot of the straight up rock and roll that was on the album. I wanted to do something dark, melodic, and moodier."
