Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club TC l4 " (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

This THURSDAY, June 30th, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) will welcome Steven Cutts, The Big Trees of NYC, Erica Lustig and more.

Steven Cutts has starred on Broadway in Hairspray (Seaweed) and was featured in the cult hit musical film Camp. Cutts is a founding member of Broadway in South Africa and lends his voice to many concerts and benefits within the theater community.

The Big Trees of New York City is an indie musical duo comprised of Andrew O'Rourke and Cliff Darnell. The "Trees" offer live original jams melding classic rock, reggae and southern bluegrass.
The evening will also feature performances by vocalist Erica Lustig and a special appearance by Broadway veterans Sarah Litzsinger (Beauty and the Beast) and Greg Reuter (Spamalot)
Open Mic party will go til 2 am featuring guest musical director Garret Guadan.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
