Over the next month, several musicians are taking the stage all over NYC. From the Black Rock Coalition, who kicks off their 30th anniversary 30-events-in-30-days celebration on September 6 at the Bell House in Brooklyn, to September 7 when Terakaft plays at Joe's Pub, to September 11: Aziz Sahmaoui & University of Gnawa also at Joe's Pub, to October 1 when Zedashe takes the stage at DROM.

Remembering the untold numbers of Black musicians who made rock what it is, while nurturing a scene, the volunteer-powered organization insists on the slow build of process.
